Tour of Sicily
Capo d’Orlando will host the start of the second stage of the 2019 cycling Tour of Sicily scheduled April 3 to 6.
It ‘was the Regional Councilor for Tourism Sandro Pappalardo to break the news to the Mayor Franco Ingrillì. The Sicilian Region, in fact, has recently signed an agreement with RCS Media Group, organizer of the Tour of Italy, for the conduct of three stages of the Giro in 2020, the start of the Tour of Italy in 2021 and, in fact, three editions of the Tour of Sicily.
On April 4, then, Capo d’Orlando will host the start of the stage that will lead the caravan of more than 150 professional cyclists to reach Palermo.
